  • 4–6 tea bags or Big Tea Packet if making in large quantity (black or green tea)
  • Lemon Juice extracted from 2-3 large lemons with lemon slices 
  • 4 cups of filtered water
  • ¼ cup sugar or honey (adjust according to your taste needs)
  • Ice cubes
  • Optional: Fresh Mint, Grated Ginger, or a pinch of Salt.

Pro Tip: Freshly squeezed lemon juice is better than packet juice.

How to Make Iced Lemon Tea at Home

Follow this instructions for how to make lemon ice tea step by step:

1. Brew The Tea

Start with boiling 4 cups of water in a Saucepan. Now add your favourite 5-6  T webs of green or black tea.  You can also  Add raw tea from the packet, add according to your need.

Note: The longer you boil the tea the more bitter it becomes. Also if you are not using tea bags then  Do not forget to train your tea.

2. Add Sugar (Honey is optional)

In the saucepan add 1/4 cup of sugar and stir it well while the tea is still hot.  Taste the tea with a spoon and adjust the fitness poverty as you may like.  If you want to add more sugar in the tea I recommend you to add it after the tea has brewed.  This will save you from over Sweeten of the tea.

3. Now add your Lemon Juice

You can directly squeeze the lemons into the brewed tea, or you can add after measuring right up to ½  of a cup. 

4. Let the Iced Lemon Tea mixture cool itself

Do not rush, and let the tea cool itself to room temperature.  Now refrigerate the tea for about 1-2 hours.

 Note: Do not add ice over the hot tea mixture, let it cool  itself in the refrigerator

5. Time to assemble your Iced Lemon Tea

In transparent glasses filled with ice, pour the refrigerated Iced Lemon Tea and garnish it with lemon slices mint or ginger slice.
