Stretch to Wake Your  Body 

Aashay Edwin (CPT) shares eight essential morning stretches. Simple and quick, to increase energy, ease stiffness, and set a positive tone for the day.

Knees‑to‑Chest 

Lie on your back and bring one knee at a time to your chest. Hold to release lower back tension—perfect after sleep.

Supine Twist 

Still lying down—drop knees to each side for a gentle spinal twist. Aashay says it wakes your torso and improves mobility .

Cat‑Cow 

On hands and knees: arch your back up and drop your belly down. This increases blood flow and eases morning stiffness .

Thread‑the‑Needle  Pose

From all fours, slide one arm under the opposite. Aashay says this gentle twist helps release upper back tension .

Kneeling, sit back into your heels and stretch arms forward.
